The only kind of models that can be printed that way have very little total area touching the PDMS at any given time, that is why he uses the lattice type model. Also he says in his narrative that it can be used to print this type of model.

Notice he still had to have the vat make a release move in order for the foundation base to print and not get ripped appart with the lift. Too much surface area for a direct lift.

Also a non castable resin. I don't know that there exists a highly reactive photopolymer that is castable. Those short exposure times would not work with any of the castable b9 resins.

yeah i agree with you robert but we should try this....
when we prints a full ring.... we need 3:30 hours or more time to print a ring....
i am not saying rebuild the software as it is but atleast we would come closer to his software by our jewelry catagory....
means if we need 3:30 hours to print a ring after rebuild the software if it prints in 1:30 hours then its ok with us.... cause you know very well our projector's lamp have being weaker so the printing time will be increasing and increasing more.....
we need save our lamp life....
normally our lamp works fine till 600 hours after that it become weaker be cause of it our print ratio get down to 70%
1 - missing parts....
2 - gauge problems....
3 - supports not parallel...
etc.....
i thinks you guys must work on it......
we need updates of the software....... for our projectors lamp life.....

Regarding print time, I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the computer. My print almost always finishes faster than the stated time. Sometimes as fast a 30 minutes faster.
