Success!
Well thought for a while that this would not be possible, but thanks to Robert's suggestion,
have successful prints with Nylon 6 on the V1.1 machine.
Left legs on machine lifted about 1.5", and removed flap in the sweeper (to prevent resin overflow).
Filled with resin to about half way up vat edge on right side, (still allows for sweeper to remove and PDMS breathe
while allowing flow just in time for next layer.. (And resin gets a bit more fluid as it heats up as well)
Took some time and patience to figure out exposure times... (removing debris from this thick resin is challenging).
Settings: (approximate) Overall resin is pretty fast.
(50Xy resolution and slices) Adjust accordingly to your printer needs if you try this..
Base: 4.0 and Over: 3.0
Attach Base: 9.0 Attach Over: 3.5
(my bulb hours low @ 150 for reference..)
Also x motor likely needs to be strong... Resin is super thick so could possibly inhibit x motion on machines with weak x motor?
Printed material is flexible/bendable before before cure, super hard after heat cure.
(1 hr post cure @150F in oven...softens while hot and then cools super-hard)
Very happy with the results! Amazing for sure.
Exactly what I needed, more like having industrial-level printer with nylon-like quality resin!
High resolution prototype or "finished product" quality samples are now possible straight from this printer.
Snap fit parts working very well, durable and appears to be no-wear long lasting, does not break or become brittle,
overall super tough material!
Thanks so much to the b9 team for developing this incredible resin!
