From my experience using different resins on different printers...
General rule of thumb for using any resin on a SLA/DLP printer:
Assumption: Your printer puts out out the correct light wavelength and intensity to cause the particular resin to cure
Assumption: Your layer peel mechanism and build plate design is compatible with the particular resin's characteristics in terms of viscosity, etc.
Assumption: Your resin is properly mixed and has the proper percentages of resin components (not unbalanced)
* If you expose it and it doesn't cure, you need more exposure
* If you expose it and it sticks to the vat and not to the plate, you need to check your calibration of your plate/vat interface, layer thickness and exposure
* If you expose it and it sticks to the plate, you are probably good, but still may need to tweak your settings for optimal use
There are plenty of variables that can all affect the result. This is the very top of the troubleshooting chart, but things like cleanliness of the build plate and vat surface can become an issue, contamination of resin with other incompatible resins, improper mixing, excessive light exposure, uneven build platform, damage to vat surface, etc. -- the list seems endless.
