Has anyone motorized the rod which adjusts projector z-axis resolution?

The one thing I genuinely don't like about this printer, is calibrating for the different Z-Axis resolutions. It takes so long to adjust and starts to hurt the thumb. I got blisters one day from going back and fourth. (I know going back and fourth was my bad though still)

Has anyone come up with something to make the adjusting easier/quicker? I'm imagining a custom drill attachment or cogs and crank system but I'm no 3d designer. A stepper motor would be nice!

WOW! I need to go through this and find out if all that modding to the back plate is necessary. I would think simply unscrewing would do it and it's possibly two mods in this post? No sure what the long rods are for. Servicing?

Oh you're the one who made it :)

I have a 1.1 and all I really care about is the up/down. Is it possible to do without modding the back plate? I don't have access to a mill of any sorts
