Anyone using Rhino to check the validly of their models before printing?

Just wondering what your workflow is.

I run show edges and look for naked edges and then under diagnostics > check the mesh.

I did these two checks ion Rhino and all is ok but when I print I have seen anomalies in the printed models that does not exist in CAD model.

Using Matrix 8 it has this wonderful mesh repair function.
if you have only Rhino then using just Mesh may not work well enough.
You might consider using one of the free online services https://www.shapeways.com/tutorials/how ... nd_netfabb
or a pay per model service like https://www.trinckle.com/en/repairservice.php

U can set the export dialogue boxes so that it won't allow the export of non manifold objects.

I use the Object checker in Matrix.

With Zbrush 2019 I started using ZRemesher but I still need to use Dynamesh since that closes meshes.

I looked for naked edges but the selopenpolysurfaces and selopenmesh showed the issues.
