I have cast small ladies rings and heads with no problems. Used heat curing only.

I don't have Pics but a caster in NYC was able to cast Black Resin into Silver for me with pretty good results. For the same model in Black vs a 1:1 cherry red mix... small holes and such casted cleaner and most of them were open compared to a few on the cherry red.

It really does smell horrible though ... How are people venting out the smell? and are the fumes for it Toxic?

After cleaning I oven cure at 150 F for 15 min. then 225 for 15 min. 300 for 15 min then 345 for 1 hr. Don't over heat or u will experience cracking. Don't soak in alcohol just rinse.

Lots of air flow for oven. Top temp hold 3 hrs. vacuum or vent or both. I cast the smaller pcs with no venting. Complete curing maybe part of the problem some are having, just haven't cast enough to really know. out of the four pieces cast, no failures. Will try casting some more in the future . Extremely busy with orders, not a time to be testing.

Have no experience with thick walled items, yet.
