Pricing: It will be less than the $40k annual lease (3 year min) that Carbon charges.

Probably still out of my hobbyist budget range, though. :(

Not to be overly gloomy, though. I'm excited to see what it can do. Especially if the resolution is better than the v1.2.

It's....so fast. I'll never forget my original B9 took 12 hours for a print set!

Also am I seeing this right?! No more PDMS?

OK, I'm gonna guess. A few other machines are in the $3499 area. I'm going to guess $3999.

I'll have to think about resolution and build area for guesses on those.

A man can dream. Because of all the quality of life upgrades (built in computer, different vat system) and the fact that it has a new LED system that also somehow makes it print like a bat out of hell, my guess is 10k-15k.

More info coming on availability and pricing, but will cost more than the old v1.2. :( but less than Carbon :D

We didn't skimp on anything, it's meant to be a long lasting reliable work horse, not a hobby machine to tinker with (v1.2 is still available for that fun)

There are no user serviceable parts inside and no calibrations to perform.

All that said, it should save time and money (no lamps or vats to replace). If you take care of the two included vats and they should last a very long time.

I love to tinker, don't get me wrong. But this is sweet, sweet music to my ears.

Hopefully we'll see some side by side v1.2/Core Series prints soon to compare quality.

Mr Howle, I'm guessing you already have one of these. Would you be able to print a model for me? While I likely won't be getting one of these any time soon for home use, we have a very very expensive competitor's machine at work for printing model masters. These models are then used to create the injection molds for production. If the quality is high enough, the Core Series is likely an easy sell to my superiors, especially if it means no longer having to pay that competitor's annual fee for tech support. But I would almost certainly need to show a B9 print side by side with one off of our current machine to get anybody to even consider the purchase.

Loving the updates.. I've always known the team at B9 don't skimp on anything if its possible and feasible. Sounds like this will be that machine which will put an end to all my worries like calibration issues, projector failing, PDMS clouding etc especially during rush orders. Haven't really run into such issues with my 1.2 printer but it was always on the back of my mind.

Look forward to more details on the pricing. Will probably have to start saving for a while :)

I like the fact that you kept the shape as well as keeping it neat and clean.
can you give us a footprint dimension??

Can you post pictures of prints by the new machine possibly comparative side by side photos of new core prints and b91.2 prints.

Wait if this machine is:

What will we talk about on the forum ??

Mr. Mike.

Please be specific in values. I am a user of B9 more than 2 years ago and I want to know if I can buy the new machine.

What special fair prices will be offered? Is it a machine for rent?

It is certain that we will know the values at some point, so I do not see it necessary to hide them.
