I bought my B9 to print model trains. Specifically British outline, 1940s era GWR N scale (1:148) models. So here goes:

This wagon is about 50mm long. Printed at 9s + 9s exposure and 4s breathe, 4s settle.

More images here, including microscope images comparing a B9-red print at 50XY and 50.8Z with commercial injection moulded models:http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/66521-and-who-says-that-home-3d-printing-cant-do-detail/page-2
Also images of my more recent printing for a bridge on my layout.

Nice work. Very nice macro shots. It will be interesting to see how your projects develop with the new resin and refined exposure time. Which reminds me I need to test some of my displacement maps on the B9.

Some parts for an n-gauge lorry and a very thin 10mm figure:

10mm figures usually have to have arms and legs the size of (scale) treetrunks to allow them to be moulded or cast. Not anymore!

All of the above photos with yellow resin are:
Spot-HT
50XY, 50.8Z.
2 x 10s attachment layers,
3mm overlift for the first 0.5mm, then no overlift
3s cure, 4s edge cure
20% open and close speed
8s breathe, 12s settle

No clouding on fresh PDMS as far as I can see.

Some creatures. The elephant's ears and tail are about 0.2mm thick at the bottom. This was printed feet towards the table with the same settings as above.

Hi Rabs,
Great work, especially the railway models! Reminds me of a good friend of mine, Alistair Rolfe who used to make really specialised kits.
He would have loved to see this 3-d printing of models!
Can I ask you where I could find the Elephant?

Danny

Painting at the moment because everything is an experimental one-off. I'm interested to try resin (normal casting resin that is), whitemetal and or brass casting though. I just can't justify the cost at the moment.
