New figure models

Some pictures of pre-production resin casts of a 1:18 Tazio Nuvolari figure.

Head was printed in Cherry @ 30x30x25µ, and Body was printed in Black @ 50x50x30µ.

Image

The bodies on their sprues shown in 1:32, 1:24, and 1:18 scales. I used to scale each piece in Cheetah, but now I make one 1:24 baseline scaled figure, swap out the P/N info on the base and scale them in the B9 layout.

Beautiful modeling, printing and finishing.
Congratulations.
Do you do A. J. Foyt? I love his remark something to the effect he was going to Europe to drive Formula 1 "to show those sissies how to drive." He was pretty rough around the edges, but drove and won in more classes of car than just about anybody.

Thanks for posting. Always good to see exceptional work.

Well, Jimmy Clark won the Indy 500, but Foyt never won an F1 race. Perhaps turning left AND right confused him

Mario Andretti is probably next on the list :)

Well, you can't expect him to be able to do everything. He was entertaining, at times.
Jim Clark was a hero when I was growing up.
