Some raw stuff.... 8-) printed with pure cherry...using the defaults....25 z slice. 8 hour burnout with Satincast.....these were also UV cured. It is my opinion that there is no difference in heat curing versus UV curing.

EDIT ...the band with the fingerprint was milled....not printed.

hey TAJS ... awesome work btw. what kind of UV curing unit do you use? Is your printed parts still sticky after curing?

I've tried curing my parts in a regular UV nail curing box for 5+ hours but they still feel sticky like there is resin on the surface. Would that cause problems during casting?

Thanks guys :)

I just use the el-cheapo curing unit from Amazon. However, I have noticed that tacky/sticky surface you speak of when UV curing....I have not noticed it after heat curing. It is possible that this could cause casting issues....how long does the tacky feel linger on your models?

I wonder if it is possible to over-cure the models?

When cured there should be no tacky feel with UV or heat.

Vibratory Bowl 1 large unit running mixed Pink media. Takes a while, but does help on larger items .
Watch out for small media getting stuck .
