Thanks for the new version. Really do like the xy and z being added to the file name when slicing, was doing that manually. Will try the new layout "stuff" later tonight.

I was running both my machines on windows 10..... until the update. Now it won't run.... I tried it in compatibility mode and it won't run either... Mike, do you have a solution for windows 10 and the new software?

If u send the question to Support@b9c.com it will be seen faster, as several people monitor from the factory, including Mike.

Might see it there before he reads the forum.

Metalcaster, several of our test machines are Windows 10 (no issues). We'll look into it asap.

Did you let autoupdate make the changes or did you download and install from the installer?

Does the software crash when you launch it?

Did you auto-update or run the installer?

For the floater removal, we just look for "unattached" pixels and we don't cure them. The part will print exactly the same, but there won't be any debris generated and that will help keep the resin clean. Of course, ideally the supports are such that all of your model is printable. But sometimes the tips of downward facing prongs, etc. might not be fully supported and the early layers would not have anything to attach to and float away. Not any more.

If you were to accidentally not support an object (forget to snap it to floor, etc.), in older versions that would create hundreds of unattached floaters, again not any more.

Hi ,
I allowed it to auto update and right after that, it then said: this app can't run on your pc.
I just uninstalled the program, downloaded the 1.8.1 software and it seems to have locked up .
Tried running as an administrator ... nothing yet....
Think I will down load another copy incase this got corrupted

1.8.1 won't load settings for a MadeSolid resin I use.
When I try to start a print, all the fields are yellow.
Worked fine with 1.8.

Looking forward to working with the upgrade. Looks like lots of good stuff has been done.

I'll also need to know what happens when you hit the "Restore Exposure Defaults" button. And can you verify what Material is selected on the Main Tab?
