That is the print data after my first print using the data that Mike supplied....I printed at 30 xy 30 z slice. Yet there it is...the xy at 50 micron...somethings up...but my prints are coming out great.

Just so I'm clear, I enter what Mike said in the materials section, then enter these in the print screen when I'm ready to use the 1:1 mix test from the drop down?

I just followed his instruction.....after this print, I will upload the data. You will be creating a new catalog entry and just use the defaults for that entry.

Once u create the duplicate and enter Mike's values and save u just select from materials catalogue one time if u are going to continue to test this 1:1 material. If u go back to another material, then just select the one u want each time. If u make any changes (maybe longer settle) while doing the "Test" and u want to use it again, just click "restore settings from last print". U don't need to enter any values in print screen. The duplicate u created using Mike's materials values will do all for u.

Not sure why the configuration setting is showing 50xy....I am printing at 30xy. It also says the print was aborted and I had a successful print.

@Robert, that's why I was asking. When I enter Mikes values my print screen looks nothing like TAJS, that's why I thought I had to enter things into the print screen like TAJS posted above here.

Are u using 1.1 or 1.2 machine. If u are on the 1.1 machine Mike's settings adjusts for that machine. It should not look anything like his because he is on the 1.2 version. That is not TAJS print screen, it's his print data report.

This is where u enter Mike's settings for the test.. as i am sure u know. (this is not the actual one, just had jpeg available)

This is the second time I have had this happen to my prints when using Mikes settings....not sure what's up. The prints are still a bit wet, but as you can see it's like they hit the event horizon in side the B9.
I'm not sure if it has anything to do with this post here..

@Robert, I'm on the 1.2. I'm going to reset my machine and enter Mikes info again then run another print now.

Red Cherry 1:1 Mix - Test Settings

This is a print screen (also not the actual one for the test, just had it available). Just to let u know I had been printing with those settings for 3 months. The diff is that my cherry duplicate was done with the defaut settings in the materials catalogue (no changes like are to be done for Mike's test) and I made the changes i wanted when opened the print screen. Since I only print at 30 and 30 i just clicked "Restore settings from last print" each time.

As u can see those settings u have are my original settings for 1:1 mix. They are not Mike's test settings. You should have to enter nothing in the print screen except maybe settle if u like.

Using Mike's test values in the "Materials Catalogue Dupicate" i get the same screen as TAJS. We are both printing at 30 xy and 30 Z and probably have similar lamp hrs.

Are your prints elongated in the z direction? If so, this is not a settings issue, as far as the print screen or the materials catalogue. This is mechanical or model related (scaling maybe).

Just thought i would mention that when mixing the Red and cherry, u must mix them first very well then combine. Also i have always done the 50/50 mix by weight not volume (sorry if i have failed to mention this in the past). They have very similar SG so volume or weight should not make a significant difference, I wouldn't think.

Yes, they are printing in z direction. I am running Mikes settings now after reboot, power cycle, etc.. I too only print in 30xy 30z. We will see what it all looks like in 4 hours when it's done.

Red Cherry 1:1 Mix - Test Settings

I setup my 1.1 machine with Mikes settings. Remember that I have the filter problems on this projector.
I was set up at 75XY and 50.8 Z The item was a charm about 1 inch tall. The print reading told me 8.3 hours !!!! ( normally, this would be no more then 2 hrs.
The A base went to 45 seconds which , in my machine will bond to the pdms and crash.
Luckily , I had the evert Glass in this test and it almost bonded, but amazingly , it did not. The print 8 hrs later was horrible...
This is what I have been having with the 1.1 with the filter problem... Not a good test for the settings, but it shows what is happening with the projector / software if the filters are removed.... Very long print times and bad results.

VIA @MikeJ

"I'm looking at having some made.
One set to "upgrade" the v1.1 (D535) machines for faster cure speed. Another to add to the D912, to prolong projector life.
These will need to be high temp and filter out hard UV(below 360nm) and IR.

For the v1.1.0 machine mods, we'd have to add new, v1.1.1 configs, to account for the increased energy." http://www.b9c.com/support/?mingleforumaction=viewtopic&t=2292.0

Thanks Mike for the Materials settings!
I created the new Material, and ran a test print with very nice results on the first try in 1.7.3 on a v1.2. Only change from defaults is MSM=0.8, which I've been using lately as it creates cleaner small holes. I might try even lower MSM one of these days.

While waiting for my 1.2 to be delivered hopefully tomorrow. I did the mod that Tim did due to my 1.1 keep failing print. So, I cut some regular glass 24mm x23mm and 2mm thick. Pull the uv glass out then put the regular glass in. The printing time was 4hrs from the 14hrs ( but fail print). here is the result and the print setting. Totally love it. Thank you Tim. :P
