I think that a lot of others use the same principles. mUVe and OpenSL at least.

I looked up the German patent filing related to the Solidator, and it looks like the aspect that he's patented is having a semi-permeable film stretched tight with the resin above it, and a pressurized gas chamber below it. That way the film is always chock full of oxygen, and the pressurization keeps the film level.

Hi glacian, yes you are correct, the semi permeable film is teflon AS 2400 from dupont.
