Partial supports 1:1

Hi everyone, i have a 1.1 machine I have been getting some very successful prints with 1:1 mix and the standard cherry settings until recently.
My 50xy 31z prints are not printing their supports correctly anymore. The light supports are just coming out as small nubs and one of the heavier supports on this particular model is only printing a up few mm before it becomes a mess and stops completely.
I have attempted to up the exposure times a little but to no avail. The print comes out more or less the same. Also tried a new mix of resin, in case it had become contaminated somehow.
Does anybody have some advice on improving my settings, or perhaps I am missing something fairly obvious?

have you tried adjusting your machine specific multiplier?

I would try a previous model that printed correctly and make sure that the current model is a valid model and sliced properly. This has happened to others with bad stl files. Some with just a base that was bad.

If the model checks as good and u still can't print a previously successful print I would ask how many hrs on the lamp. If it's getting high, then def go to the MSM (machine specific multiplier) and raise the value by .2 to start with. Looks like the foundatioin is under cured (rubbery).

Is the PDMS very cloudy?

Been away for a while so just got back to printing again.
I went back to a previously successful print and it printed like this.
The pdms is still pretty good on my vat.
The machine has 133 lamp hrs on clock. Would this warrant an increase in the MSM already?

Don't think those hrs are your problem. Go to "Help" on the app screen and click on "copy last print settings to clipboard" and post it here so we can see all your settings. Looks like u have a "forest" of supports. If u dont allow enough settle time the resin will not flow back into place between exposures (slices). Just a thought. Wouldn't hurt to post capture of your layout too.

These were the previous settings

I've also posted an image of the layout and photo of a previously successful attempt from the same settings.... Hmmm

If you are using the same bottle of Cherry as with the first success (?), and it wasn't shaken well, it's possible you now have more pigment (higher %) than the first time. For Cherry, that % doesn't need to change too much before it starts failing like shown in your first image. You can try setting the MSM to 1.1 for the rest of the bottle then change it back when it's finished.

Hmm, so I cracked open a brand new red and brand new cherry, shook well and made a new 1:1 mix. The print came out the same. Just partially printing the supports and nothing else.
I will try with the msm increased to 1.1 and see what happens.

The result from increasing the msm to 1.1 was the same as the previous ones.
Thankyou very much Robert, I will use those settings and run the file again.

If u would like send me the file (model) and I will try to duplicate the issue and also check the model.

Fantastic thanks! I sent that through.

I printed with those exact settings and the result was less successful than before.

Did u go back and print a model that was successful in the past? Just to eliminate the possibilily of a bad model and slicing?

The model I am currently attempting to print is the previously successful one.
