Hello everyone, I saw that someone has managed to transform the file "form" built with the software "preform" from formlabs in stl.
can you explain step by step how to do it?

Open the file with notepad, delete the lines that has form code, save and rename the file as an stl. I haven't done it myself, but you could open a regular stl file in notepad to see what parts are included, then change the form file to suit :)

The form file is a binary file so notepad won't work.

You need a hex editor and delete all the bytes before the "f" in "formlabs_stl" then save as STL.

Sweet! ...

I have not used a Hex Editor since Windows XP 1st came out, and I activated it by changing parts of WinLogon.SYS

Used to be great on the old Atari ST for enhancing games. Lol

This is def one to try! :)
