Hi
I was playing with creation workshop and something really amazed me, the slicing process was really fast, less than a blink of an eye.
Then why is b9 software too slow comparing with CW?

Will the creation workshop slice intersecting solids, or does the model have to be one watertight piece?

The B9 software will slice a model made of many many solids, u dont' have to boolean everything together.

Just a thought.

I've tried about 8 jewelry models and it sliced it very easily, the problem is you should have enough ram memory, it needs too much ram.

Two good reasons B9 may be slower.
1. It handles most all types of overlapping models correctly.
2. It has no theoretical limit on the number of triangles in the models (can handle very large stl files) and is not RAM dependent.
