Changing between Cherry and Black

Y'all are gonna make fun of me, I'm sure.

I just purchased some black resin and another vat so I can use my models directly for mold making.

Which changes do I need to make on the software to go from printing in cherry (which I've always done) to printing in black? It's been so long since I've set the B9 up that I've forgotten where this stuff is. And I always use software defaults.

Thanks in advance.

I assume you are using v1.8.0 of the software (the current version, which has been out for some time now).

If your prints are fine with Cherry and default settings, then all you need to do is select a different material (Black) in the print dialog. Pretty simple! :D

Thanks, Mike.

I shouldn't have to change fade / balance and that stuff?

Correct. If the MSM, Fade, Balance and Slope are tuned for any B9 Resin (at any XY & Z resolution) then all you need to do to switch between materials is just select that material from the drop down in the pre-print dialog.

The software makes all the calculations for exposure depending on the new resolution, slice thickness, lamp age and material selected.
Measure Twice, Cut Once.
