On going maintenance

Hi everyone,

Just read that the PDMS needs to be coated after say 3-50 prints or the VAT would be damaged (cracking etc).

I'm planning on purchasing a b9 for use in printing jewellery rings, about 10 a week.

So my question is that will I spending more time tinkering with the machine and doing maintenance rather than just focusing on the output???

and probably the easier question to answer, how long does it take to apply the PDMS coat?

Thanks in advance

No more crackd vats. They are aluminum now not acrylic. PDMS only needs coating when damaged or fogged. I get about 100 hrs on mine. Always depends on what u print. Will be available soon coated glass window and depending on what u grow and if jewelry may be able to eliminate the PDMS for this special coated glass.

Mix and level and cure in oven in about 1 hr. in oven.

Sent u PM
