I sent the File2Part folks some expample .slc export code and they have promised to support .slc exports!
Be sure to take a look at their project, might be useful for some users.

We found the Rhino slicer was pretty robust as well! I hear the free version of netfabb Studio Basic can also slice to .slc http://www.netfabb.com/slice_commander.php

Jay - great idea about File2Part. All they really need to do is export the standard Rhino .slc file format, we can import that.

Beta version of B9Editor

One more note, I'm working to integrate the B9Editor functionality into B9Creator so that there will only be one software program to run, not two. Thanks to those that emailed their feedback!

Beta version of B9Editor

Update:
I just uploaded a new version (same link as above) which corrects an issue with the .svg imports created by slic3r. We've also added the ability to import .slc files. "slc" is a Rhino export format used by Rhino and other modeling software such as "Matrix" by Gemvision.

Resin shipping feedback

Monty - thanks for the feedback, I'll talk to the bottling vendor and see if they have any ideas on how to avoid this. Maybe as simple as removing some air when sealing. I expect the resin is fine, but let me know if there are any problems when you run the first print.

Resin shipping feedback

Brief exposure to normal indoor lighting(when filling/emptying the vat) is not a problem. You do want to avoid bright light and sunlight, etc. I'm planning a video tutorial to step through the entire print process from model to cleanup, as soon as I have the shipping process running. Protogenic Resin for the B9

Resin cure depth is controlled by adding pigment/dye to limit the depth of light penetration. With visible light resins, these will add color to the clear resin. UV resins do the same thing, but look clear because the pigment/color is not visible to the eye (UV blockers).

Smaller Arduino?

I don't believe exposes all the I/O pins we require.
At some point we may design our own arduino compatible board that incorporates our shield I/O, if it's cost effective.

This is not something you need to download, or even look at unless you are interested using it for your own hardware/software development purposes.
