Re: replacing lamp on 1.2v machine questions

Yes, they are the same. The projector stores the lamp hours, not our software (it just reads it from the projector or tells the projector to reset).

Looks Ok to me. As long has there's not been resin spilled on the lens should be fine.

Re: Replace projector d912hd

Sounds like they are just trying to turn it back into a "normal" projector. They should not touch the modifications done to make it focus at the short distance needed to 3D print. We will not re-modify your projector. Just have them fix the power supply or whatever you found was broken, le...

Re: Deleting library files-- Core series

A firmware update may fix a bug, add a new feature or improve the print quality. But any .cpj file created in the past should still print as good or better on a new firmware version.

No, reset will not change the firmware version.

BTW, we just released a big update, download it here:

Re: Deleting library files-- Core series

Not yet.

You can go to Settings->Reset and that will clear everything (library, history and network settings).

This would be handy, at least a "clear library" button.

Thanks for the feedback.

Re: Replace projector d912hd

We don't have parts of projectors in stock, just new projectors. Maybe you can find a used/broken one online? I've no idea which parts would need to be swapped or if it's even possible.

Re: Replace projector d912hd

We offer replacement projectors. But if choose to buy your own and do your own modification (which is fine), please understand that we have no support for that. If you ask a specific question then we can try to answer, but we don't have any kind of guide for the overall procedure as we feel it's not...

The vat absolutely should not leak. Please create a support ticket and we'll get that replaced!

Re: Short cut keys

Yep, that's the "B9Create" software for the Core series.

If you wished, you could use it to create a layout, export it as an .stl and then use that .stl in the older B9Creator software. (Undo is pretty nice!)

You can download the B9 Core software here: http://www.b9c.com/support/b9-core

Re: Pdms, model growing into surface ??

If the window isn't opening all the way then there is a machine issue for sure.
Could be cables or x axis home sensor, but I'd also suspect the x motor is going bad (gears skipping?)

Re: Pdms, model growing into surface ??

Focus is critical for small detail.
Try putting a white sheet of paper on the pdms surface and use something to hold it down flat. Look up from underneath at the grid pattern when focusing.

Looks to be a bit out of focus, based on the logo details.

Re: print anomaly

When you have a nearly flat or flat surface that is nearly aligned with horizontal or vertical plane, this can happen. As you know, the build up is made from tiny blocks (like legos) and so depending on model orientation, flat surfaces will show an artifact when surface transitions from one block le...
