behold3d, Ok so do you think it is 100% replacement for original Sylgard 182?
Could you compare number of prints printed till clouding to sylgard or not?

Here is a strange one...

I saw this one time. Maybe a week ago I noticed it in the editor (that's why I ALWAYS do check slices before ANY print operation) and symptoms were the same - model sliced to some point (about 8/10th of total height) good and then suddenly it inverted an rest of the slices was in the same fashion as...

Little explanation about Balance, Fade and Slope

Maybe this "double" bases could be because of bad build table calibration?
Regarding cracks - yes it could be both alcohol and ultrasonic. Don't let it sit too long in sonic bath. I generally use it 2-5 minutes, sometimes even less.

:) Forum growed up :)
But vBulletin is not free to use - it's commercial. Of course you can find "nulled" in the net, but ethic (and likely law) side of the question is open.

I heard about Polastosil, QSil and most interesting - ML Solar Cell Guard. But still no reliable confirmation that all that works as original.

But thanks on the tip.

PDMS? Casting... Hm, can't see how all that can be related?
If you are not sure just use ordinary original Sylgard 184. You can buy it from amazon, eBay, etc...

There was a lot of questions about how eclipse adjusting to front-rear and left-right works. Here I pictured few examples of settings and how do they adjust position of "eclipse". Hope it will help to somebody. Notice that if eclipse is moved, for example, to front, rear will obtain MORE CURE, and v...

PDMS heat curing

Ok, thanks for all, but I'm kind of conservator here - using old good acrylic vat. Made it thinner to decrease cost even further so now it's kind of supply material :)
But I thought about something like heated bed for FDM 3D printers. Or maybe a box with light bulbs controlled by thermal relay...

Guys nobody want to share experience on how you are making your PDMS flat and cured?
I mean where do you heat curing it? In cocking oven? I heard someone made special unit with light bulb and thermal relay which controls temperature? Any more info?
Thanks.

Setting resin MakerJuice subg + software to v1.7.3

Hello. Attached is some starting points for current MakerJuice SubG+ on 1.7.3 software. It could be quite different on different machines and of course it will heavily depend on pigment concentrations used. You talked about 10% concentration... Well that's a LOT. It's 90 grams of resin and 10 gr...

Maybe it's too big. It happens sometimes.
Regarding casting. Now I see that unlikely it could be cast because of it's formula. Maybe on small objects, I mean really small, but not big ones like rings.

Resolving XYZ Accuracy

I see that it could be concerned with trapezoidal distortions. On the images it is clear pattern that top blocks print bigger than lower. Check projector mounting that it is sitting as it should, nothing is bent, and projector is tighten hard. Double check calibration of projector. And make sure it ...

Resin Expired

In fact resin DO EXPRIE. But due to compounds used in B9R it's kind of long time, maybe 3-5 years. For MJR G+ it's "only" one year. Should be the same for FTD resins, if I'm not mistaken. So in your exact case just... "shake and bake, baby, shake and bake!" (c) :) Blender? You must be kidding? :) No...

Well it's even more aggressive chemical then iso. Also after few month of testing I'm very satisfied with iso + water UV method of cleaning. Every model becomes dry and fully cured.

There is no such a documentation other than wiki, or question/answer everywhere here on forum. Ask what you'd like to know more precisely.
