its an automatic focus point and shoot camera. I wish I had a dslr. It's having a hard time focusing on such a small print enough to show the details or stair stepping. That's why i had to add more light.

100.. i havent printed at 50 yet. One of the nuts from my z arm fell into my vat and loosened from the vibration. Needless to say my pdms is coming off now.

I think I may have a solution for the sylgard problem. I am testing.

perforated build platform

were seeing bubbles because of the surface tension of the pdms. The air pushes away the resin under those tight spaces. This is a good thing and like mike says will not effect the print if your part is
planned correctly

Not sure this is in the correct spot. I was tempted by everyone attempting prints so i tried too. Not too bad. I did see some stair steps like others did their first time but I think with proper exposure and calibration It will be great. 49 mm tall Also Seems that traditional stl supports do not pri...

slic3r does not calculate slices or faces that are less than 1.1mm. I think its because its intended use was for extrusion printers

seems to me that there is still something missing in the calibration. For instance, how do we know at what size we are to adjust the calibration grid on the build platform? also, the projector to this point is still supposed to be loose. at what point are we to secure it and to what guidelines? I th...

why did you decide to change the suggested exposure to 20? I am wondering out loud if at 50 microns if the exposure time should be adjusted down slightly instead of up.

Its also great to see a print like this. I can just imagine how proper calibration would make this amazing

it would be nice to be able to select two stls or a stl and a slc file and designate one as the model and the other as the support like the "tec" systems do.

i make my supports in another program and export them. otherwise i have to boolean them together and they become.. odd

are your set screws tightened on your shaft collar? the other issue i had was that i had to loosen the slide assembly on the z arm. it was binding and not allowing movement

mike mentioned that this is normal in another thread. he said that the limit switches represent "extremes" which your arm should never hit unless there is an emergency. in that situation you will have to manually turn the shaft to disengage it. hope that helps.

order a reedy machine and not a kit?

you can order a built kit but i believe he charges you an additional 1000us. i also think he is looking into changeable base for the projector too
