Red Cherry 1:1 Mix - Test Settings

VIA @MikeJ "I'm looking at having some made. One set to "upgrade" the v1.1 (D535) machines for faster cure speed. Another to add to the D912, to prolong projector life. These will need to be high temp and filter out hard UV(below 360nm) and IR. For the v1.1.0 machine mods, we'd have to add new, v1.1...

I believe I started having issues too around the same age of my lamp. It's odd to have so many with the same issue.

New user.. Information about Projector Lamp

There are many sources for lamps. You can find some on amazon or even eBay. What makes you think your bulb is aging?

Also, if you look at your log you'll be able to see your lamp hours

Projector window troubleshooting and mod

It's definitely a mystery. In my opinion you should be getting some sort of warning. I do notice that most if the heat is blocked at the lamp. Robert do you have a fan blowing across the top of this machine for your PDms? Maybe your color wheel is not spinning and blocking that spectrum? I am not su...

Mike look at microscope slide material. They have a certain two types that allow 96% uv pass through and another that shows temperature resistance up to 1200c ( overkill)

Great test Tim, I want to calibrate my hot spot too. I have to hunt around on how to do that..

I wonder what temperatures we are talking about in the lamp compartment? Can we see your vent? that is interesting to me

I'm thinking about using borafloat glass. Tim you may want to use a fan too. Also certain microscope slides have better uv transparency and temperature resistance. I believe someone told me the lamp lens has a coating on it that is applied inconsistently. This resulted in extraordinary long cure tim...

The fan is just mounted on the outside of the projector blowing in front of the lamp. It's between the two lenses. I am not getting long print times. My msm is still set to .5 so this is much faster than originally taking. I have some lenses on order to replace the others. Haven't received them yet
