Re: checking models

Using Matrix 8 it has this wonderful mesh repair function. if you have only Rhino then using just Mesh may not work well enough. You might consider using one of the free online services https://www.shapeways.com/tutorials/how_to_use_meshlab_and_netfabb or a pay per model service like https://www.tri...

Re: Need help with a larger print

Ask anyone on FB 3dprinting pages yet?

There are several there that have 530
who sold you your 530? Who ever it was they would most likely have a 550 themselves.
Cept Robert I know he only had the 530.
Call your rep.

Re: anyone have 3 stage burnout schedule ?

I don't use a step ramp on my kiln.
I use Satin Cast and I turn my kiln to go directly to 1450 deg. F.
I think your castings look just great especially considering the thickness of your
model in that video.
Keep doing what you're doing it looks fine to me.

Re: Surface Roughness

Robert Yes, I used the microfiber I received with the machine and some 91% isopropil. I used a small flashlight to reflect the beam and verified it and the Vat's bottom were perfect. The inner glass had a haze that may be due to leaving the Vat in there for too long, MarceloM So to be clear you cle...

Re: Surface Roughness

when was the last time you let the vats oxygenate??

tilt the vat or pour out the resin either way clean the window with ISO
allow the vat to sit without resin covering it to get the window to oxygenate.

Re: B9 Core Series Release Notes 1.0.30 Firmware 60

Do we apply this to our Printers as well as the software?
My software is on a different computer and I use a USB to transfer it to the printer.
Should I add a copy to the printer using the USB or is this just a software upgrade?

Re: B9CREATOR 1.2 - Z axis/switch not working

Tried my best to check the connections, but still nothing. I remember before the Z axis toggle stopped working, the vat started to move by itself left to right super fast when I booted the computer/printer. I shut everything down and after the reboot that z axis switch didn't respond anymore. Have ...

Re: X axis movement malfunction b9 V1.1

Adrien, I removed my wiper and moved it to the other side of the vat then made sure the flap was opening towards the vat window on my 1.1. What that did was continued to mix the resin during a print and when the vat moved back the resin flowed through the wiper flap so it wouldn't squeeze out the en...

Looks like incomplete 1.1
Problem is it's not in the USA so that 800.00 price tag would cost us around 1,000.00
plus shipping.
Still there may be a user there.

Re: B9 Create is hollowing out my models

I don't think it is B9 Software The white area is the exposure that is solid red areas (not shown) would be not printed as well as any Black would not be printed. Use the Xray feature in the B9 software to scroll through the design to see if there are any black areas in the middle of the model. Did ...
