Re: Duravat

excuse I wanted to say that DURAVAT of the machine was damaged, and I wonder if someone indicates where to fix because I would not like to buy a new one. There is no instructions to fix a damaged Duravat that I know of. The only option that has been offered to us is if it is damaged B9 will sell yo...

Re: Formlabs Castable Wax Resin Settings on B9 Core

Yeah.. must be my caster for sure. Everyone else I've talked to say they are getting perfect cats with b9 emerald.. The 3 or 4 people using b9 emerald with my caster have similar problems.. tried just about suggesting everything to my caster but to no avail so looking for a wax like resin that does...

Re: Formlabs Castable Wax Resin Settings on B9 Core

Very true Robert, thank you. We've maintained our 'normal' burnout schedule that we were using for hand carved waxes. I don't do the castings in my shop. The detail is surprisingly very crisp even showing 0.6mm milgrain. We were using the emerald and the yellow resins previously. Both seemed slight...

Re: Formlabs Castable Wax Resin Settings on B9 Core

Formlabs Castable Wax Resin This resin casts beautifully, no post curing required. The settings on the B9 core 530 Series is: 30nm layer thickness 35 mJ/cm2 Can you tell us how much it costs? You say you don't have to cure it? Awfully dark I was expecting a lighter color how did it cast ? any pics ...

Re: Running a b9 ver 1.1 and a 1.2 off the same laptop?

Maybe not at the same time but I don't see why they can't run separately. But all you can do is set it up and go for it to find out. Seems to me you would have to have two separate softwares running to get them both going at the same time. Don't think I have tried to open two B9 softwares at the sam...

Re: Z screw wobble

Which B9 do you have? B91.1 or the 1.2HD? I know of no reason to replace both of them but after running for three years it would be good to have a back up motor for the future if you plan to keep it. (edit) It doesn't look like you have a choice if you replace the 1.2hd screw as it comes with the ne...

Re: Dirty Prints

Like Robert said NO TOOTHBRUSH!!! I too use dawn soap and water in a plastic baggie in a hot ultrasonic for 3 or 4 minutes then rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat again if necessary Depending on what it is and how much resin has clinged to the model will determine how many times you clean it. One ot...

Re: Printing Problems

This is an issue that should go directly to B9. I suggest you put in a ticket. It should not be doing this at all.
Something is wrong here considering you said you cleaned the vat on both sides and the window itself is clean.
Printing on a 530 the first week should have no problems at all.

Re: Jammed Mechanism again

Try unplugging the power to the projector, and the printer.
remove the USB connections to the printer shut down computer.
wait about 5 minutes then plug all of it back in and restart the computer.

Re: The problem of wave

NOt sure it is a problem The photos you saw from Robert is from the Core 530 and you are using a Core550. There will be a difference in the surface detail. The core 530 has a smaller build table and is able to print down to 20um even though we also print at 20um I am not familiar with what the core5...
