Unfortunately, they have stopped supporting the B9 Creator. Right before they finally released model making grey resins, too, which was an extra kick in the teeth. Apparently they don't even sell replacement lamps any more, so as soon as your last lamp dies, it's a $4k paperweight. I guess once our...
I accessed all 23 pages under the heading of B0Creator 1.2 and saw nothing referring to using fast wax on an older machine like the 1.2hd I don't recall them ever actually saying what the settings would be. Have you tried using the settings for either of the settings available for the resins used on...
Just let it bench set for at least 1 hour 2 or 3 is even better. Place the can in the kiln room temp. turn kiln up to burn out temp of 1450 Deg F. No ramp just let it go straight to high temp. Hold for 3 hours minimum, ramp kiln down 200 deg per hour or just reduce the temp slowly to cast temp. I st...
I could swear I saw a topic on how to open older files in the newer B9 core software. Can anyone point me to it or answer whether or not we can open the older B9J sliced files?
Hi Ben, I see you have posted 3 different questions here on the 1.1. I suggest you use the search box using those key words like "Vivitek D535 lamp" or FEP and you might find all your answers in the past posts. Tim akgold
Can you actually print this item using the photon resin that came with it? This model could print on a B9Core in about 30 to 45 min. on a photon I would be 2.5 hrs or more. I have a photon I bought several years ago just for the heck of it. I could not get the B9 resin to print a model. You would be...
I am not privy to the settings needed to use the green resin on B91.2 but I would first check calibration. Make sure the focus is correct. Then I would replace the PDMS if you are still using it, and if you are you should consider changing to FEP that has replaced the PDMS. Focus and calibrate. Oh a...
Robert Howle, Keven Fautenberg. I worked with it in March as a beta tester. It certainly made a difference in the surface of the prints and reduced time. There are videos on it from webinar just recently. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_gQiKgPrjmc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oYvkyBcRqkM https:/...
Hello, I´m having a problem printing on my 530. The printer suddenly crashes and the screen turns yellow, and I need to turn off the printer. Beside that, when I turn it on, the table doesn´t go all the way up, and I have to "restart" the same project and then stop it, in order to use the...
So for yellow it’s 1350 ... would Be too high not to burn out diamonds right ? I would use Boric Acid to protect the diamonds. 1350 might burn out yellow but I have not used yellow yet so I can't say either way. I generally only have done cast in place with Satin Cast adding boric acid water and my...
How much money do you have? Any place like Rio, Gusswien, Stuller, Otto Frei and so many others will have entry level ovens. size of oven and functions depend on you pocket book and also the size of the cans your are casting with.
Thing about stone in place casting is to make sure the stones don't snap in but need some room for metal shrinkage/ then there is heat factors. I am burning out Green resins at 1450-1500 to get good clean castings. I have been very successful doing so since I started with the B9 1.1 and casting 50/5...
Maybe if the fumes rise up to an open window. Best to burnout overnight to avoid the fumes from wafting into someone else's space as long as it is vented outside. I you own your own home it most likely not be an issue. but if it is an apt. with upstairs neighbors there is a possibility unless it is ...
All waxes and resins are going to give off an pungent smell that is not meant for humans to inhale. That being said yeah your neighbors will complain unless it is vented outside the building. Casting in your garage and vented out will be less troublesome but it will not make them happy
If people go to all the trouble of sharing as much info as possible about an object they are selling Why in hell do you not just take the time to add the amount you are asking for it. It doesn't matter here in the U.S. I get that but anyone in your country would probably like to see the price.
