Projecter crashing on start up

Hi All, Our B9 Creator has been firing out prints over the last few weeks and we are learning a lot on the way! However since last week the B9 creator software crashes inevitably every time the projector is powered up, after it warms up (about 2 minutes after starting the print). This happens for bo...

Alternative Pigment Suppliers

Hi All, Does anyone have experience using pigments from alternative suppliers in their Maker Juice resins? Even pigments intended for other uses i.e. fiberglass pigments. I want to do a quick print in yellow, but can't afford the shipping time or cost of a bulk order from Maker Juice at the moment. ...

Re: Trouble with linux version

Hi, I am attempting to set up a Linux machine with a 32bit CPU for stability of printing. I tried a 20 hour print in Windows, and got the "Blue screen of death", however, although my machine is dual-boot (with Linux Mint) the CPU is only capable of 32bit OS as its pretty ancient. Has anyon...

About print deformed and PDMS layer

I got a tear, similar to the one shown in the image. When I first used MakerJuice. ... It sets REALLY hard, REALLY fast. Its got a much faster cure time than the standard resin. And the layers set like razor blades, when they are over exposed. Very brittle, tough and sharp. So I think maybe exposure...

Bluescreen can often indicate a "Graphics Card" driver issue?

Maybe try an alternate driver for your graphics, as you are using twin outputs. Could be an issue there?

Windows vary rarely bluescreens these days. But its often memory or graphics, and drivers that can still cause it.

Vats are in STOCK!!!

Hi, I am thinking of placing an order for the new Vat today. However, I have been unable to keep tabs on the forum for the last 8 months. I have the v1.1 machine, and do I need (a) Vat (b) Dam, and also do I need a new (c) Sweeper? I'm guessing I require the narrow one? Is the advantage of this Vat,...

V1.1 gear motor reversing direction

Hi. I discovered the solution to my issue. This was that the motor driver IC on the B9 shield (fitted to the arduino) has an overvoltage protection. This must be activated in situations where height current drain takes place. i.e in my case, a jamming of one of the mechanisms. This fault is evident ...
