Serious Settings Issue

Hello, I've just begun having a strange issue with my printer (b9 v1.2). I was doing print calibrations, and my settings changes (MSM ect.) didn't seem to be effecting the following calibration print at all. I tested this theory by drastically changing the fade/balance/msm settings with no change in...

Settings Maxed Out

I have a strange issue with my v1.2. With my last few vats, I've noticed during calibration that the slope needs to be slightly higher to achieve a perfect calibration, but my slope is maxed out in the positive. On my last calibration I need the balance to move in the positive a bit, but again my ba...

Re: Vat moves at full speed

This has happened to me a few times also, but I can't seem to reproduce it... I have no useful information, just thought it'd be helpful to know how many printers experience the issue.

Z axis Lubrication

It looks like my Z screw could use some grease. Has anyone successfully used something easy to find locally, or should I order some ball screw grease ?

Display problem

Hey. I'm having a really annoying issue here. My ancient laptop that I usually use to run the B9 died. I hooked my main computer up to it, and the b9 software isn't picking up the correct display settings. I have display 2 set as extended and 1920x1080. However, when I go into printer management; it...

B9 Light Box Questions

I've read all the comments about the b9 light box and am likely to purchase one. I've just noticed that it's across the board positive comments.... anyone have an issue with it yet, or just disagree about its results ?

Yeah. If you remember. Isince you've already done it, it'd be nice to have a shopping list instead of any trial and error.

Re: Looking for someone who can cast my ring in gold

Hey Jmsander. I had a similar issue with using a pro-E file for a project like this. I sent you an email/message explaining the work around I used.
Hope it Helps.

Thanks for the Info ! Has anyone run into a brand they really like for anyone reason, or one that turned out to be junk ? Bulbs or box.

UV Curing

I'm interested in trying the UV box method with the turn table (I started and continue with heat curing) and am wondering if anyone has found a particular brand they have preference for. I understand that the so far best method is to buy two, connect them, raise them to avoid a fire, and place a tur...

Ground Build Table

I've been working out how to perfect the perpendicularity and parallelism of the key components in my b9. I've found a number of helpful posts and seen people mention grinding their build table. This seems like an excellent idea. I've found (with an indicator) that my build tables are far from flat,...

Re: Model Railway Components and 3D Scanned Figures

Thanks for sharing these posts Alan!
I'm very happy to see the b9 pull off details that small. I'm only half understanding your idea about shimming the slide rails, could you post a picture or two of what you did ?

Re: Sharp Corner Isssues

Interesting idea. That's definitely something I haven't tried. I'll give that a shot this afternoon. What would you use to put them together ? With just resin or do you use a particular glue ? And would you connect them before or after curing ?

Re: Sharp Corner Isssues

Right. I forgot to include that the text is on both sides. I have snapped to the table and oriented the way you suggest Robert just as an experiment. In that case it is the best result so far.... But because the bottom surface is curved with the text included... Supporting it would be a nightmare ri...
