Laser Projector

Hi everyone One of my friend recently has bought a panasonic solid shine laser projector for his office showroom. It uses a blue laser instead of lamps as the light source. I was really interested in it's specifications. the brightness is 5200 lumens and the lamp life is 10000 hours. I really wanted...

DLP Chip kind

Hi
Has anyone read this at : http://envisiontec.com/ask-tough-questi ... d-printer/

"The DLP® chip in EnvisionTEC 3D printers uses square pixels which line up more precisely than the diamond-shaped pixels."

Is d912hd chip diamond or square?

Re: projectors comparison

I used a different projector because I wanted a more powerful projector. I'm using a chinese resin which was working great with an unmodified d912 (I mean without removing the filters), but when I use the new one, the time is much longer and lowering it will cause prints fail. So I measured both pro...

Re: projectors comparison

Thanks for your reply, both my lamp and projector are new, what really makes me sad is that I thought buying a more powerful projector will lower my print time, but I even have problem printing with this projector. So now I can't trust manufacturer's written specs and I don't know what should I real...

Re: projectors comparison

I mean its light output is weaker than d912 and so it can't cure like d912, I measure their output with a photo sensor and the d833 is really weaker. I can't figure it out.

Re: projectors comparison

help me please, I'm really confused, how is it possible?
I can't understand why d833 is weaker than d912. both its lamp wattage and its brightness are higher than d912.

Re: projectors comparison

i've tested a new projector, vivitek dh833, the lamp watage is 310, so it should be stronger than d912, but it's not. how?

Re: projectors comparison

Hi

I did a test but didn't get any good results.
We discussed about the projector power, so I changed the lamp from 190 w to 280 w. But unfortunately my projector became weaker. Does anyone know what's the problem?

Re: projectors comparison

But something I can't understand, 385 to 420 nm isn't the uv range, then how do they measure the power of this range with a uv meter, is it possible? They say some resins are for visible range and others are for uv range, Do they refer to a range of wavelengths or a specific wavelength? And you said...

projectors comparison

Hi I've build my own machine and first I tried vivitek d910 with EC500, the results were great. But my projector broke and it was my fault. I tried to replace it with another model dh558. I couldn't even print with that projector so I replaced it with a dh913 and again I was satisfied with the resul...

higher resolution

Hi
recently some manufacturers write high resolutions for their machines, for example:
http://www.grscastingpowders.com/fr/machinery/3d-100
Is it really possible, if so how?

A good forum for jewelers

Hi everyone, I know It's not the place but since there are a lot of jewelers I decided to ask my question here, Is there a good forum for jewelers where they discuss about different machines and methods and so on? For example I want to buy a laser welder machine and I wanted some advice and info abo...

I've tried about 8 jewelry models and it sliced it very easily, the problem is you should have enough ram memory, it needs too much ram.

Re: Changing the projector hotspot

Recently I met one of my friend who uses EnvisionTec machines, he was complaining about one thing, and I decided to ask you guys.
It seems they should make something like mask calibration each time before print.
Will the hotspot change each time? If no why do they do mask calibration each time?

Creation workshop slicer

Hi
I was playing with creation workshop and something really amazed me, the slicing process was really fast, less than a blink of an eye.
Then why is b9 software too slow comparing with CW?
