Re: Emerald resin

It's designed for 405 nm but will likely cure from 385 nm as well.

Re: Yet another frustrating printing problem

You can try tweaking the focus a bit if the lettering is not crisp enough. Sounds like you're on the right track.

Re: Yet another frustrating printing problem

I think the projector needs tuned. Fade/Balance/MSM/Slope, all could have been affected by your move or just the process of the blub aging.

Re: Where can i download the installation software for V1.2?

If the software download page isn't working (should be now?) here's a direct link.

Direct link: https://www.b9c.com/hubfs/B9Creator_Upd ... v1_8_6.exe

Sorry for the slow response. Looks like a webupdate on Monday afternoon was responsible.

Re: 1kg = a Liter?

Only when the density of the liquid is 1.0 (same as water).

Resin is a bit more dense, so 1 kg of resin is slightly less than 1 liter of resin.

Did you get this solved? As I recall talking with support, this was a cleaning issue.

Re: Could regulating voltage reduce Random lines on prints?

The Core series has built in regulation so it won't need anything else, unless your power drops out. If you live somewhere where the power cuts out often, a basic UPS (uninterruptible power supply) would be a good idea for any printer. They are readily available and might save a print if the power's...

Re: Life Time of New DuraVats

See the custom material options in the B9Create software (you need to be connected to the printer). It's possible to damage a vat with a 3rd party resin, but primarily if it contains abrasives (ceramics, etc.). So yes, 3rd party resin damage to a vat is not covered by warranty but probably not a ris...

Yes, there is a test print included in the printer's library, so you can print right out of the box.

Re: Life Time of New DuraVats

There is a provision for other resins (which would include Cherry) that allows you to simply enter an exposure dosage. With a little experimentation you should be able to print with them.

Re: Vivitek say: impossible use IN VERTICAL the 912 hd projector

The B9Creator utilizes a modified vivitek projector which we warrant for use in our 3D printer. Of course vivitek will not warrant modified projectors which are not used for the original purpose. If your B9Creator's factory modified projector has failed under B9 warranty than contact B9 support, not...

Re: replacing lamp on 1.2v machine questions

Yes, they are the same. The projector stores the lamp hours, not our software (it just reads it from the projector or tells the projector to reset).
