Re: "Chocolate" mixed resin (1:1:2 Red/Cherry/Green)

Hi to all...my observations...It seems to me, after numerous hours of experiments, that any type of resin..be a b9 or ASiga or formlab..envision..and so on..are not too friendly of (ramps) burnouts...I am getting very good results with both the green mix red and the cherry and the 1:1 cherry red..I ...

Re: UV Curing

I do not own or print any resins ..but according to many of my clients..they do not use any uv light to cure the b9 resin...this is what most of them do.. print...wash in warm water with mild dish washing liquid..wash for 30 seconds in methyl hydrate..or strong acetone...rinse again in warm and soap...

Re: Casting problems

30 minutes curing ? Unfortunately not enough..If any of you have the time..longer curing means better casting surface..the harder the resin usually the better the finish product..try and saw off the printing supports and sprues...they should look like red powder..and the saw blade should not gum up!...

Re: remove growth lines after printing

It is almost impossible to print anything without any traces of " Printing lines".. The solus 3d printer goes as far as 25 micron using the Cherry red..and still ..some lines show up...now try to cast separate pieces...pre polish each piece and then solder them together..this is what the P...

Re: A few questions before I decide to purchase!

b9 is more exspensive than formlab..and as far the technology goes Formlab is more advanced..but not the best resin to cast..if you are just making resin models it is the best as far as the cost goes..please listen to no one else..

Re: A few questions before I decide to purchase!

are you printing models to be cast in metal? Or just print the models.
If you just want to print models....save your $$$$ and check out the Formlab printers very good and economic..they also have the clear resin that you are wondering about..
