Re: FEP over PDMS = orange VAT solution

i have tried them my self months ago..no good ..too thin with no adhesion force..

dont forget the side by side movement of the vat..
you need thick fep that can take a beating..
the thicker the better...

search in the forum my post for fep testing..maybe you find it usefull..

the projector lens should be absolutely parallel with the pdms surface..
when u put the level either on the pdms or the lens ,should have the same readings

Re: Support and R&D

we are asking for metal vats for years now..
but no news..

i do not think that they are gonna upgrade the 1,2 printer in any way
maybe that is because its just a "hobby" machine after all !!

Re: More Technical details on B9CORE

i am sorry to waste your valuable time Mike but when you advertise something you also need to support it with evidence..
not with low res photos in the lowest quality ..
keep up the good work..

Re: question for b9community 3d scanner

There is not a lot of info out there.
if you search photogrammetry in you tube you will find some basic tutorials to get you started..

If you do not mind send me 15-20 photos of an object you want to scan ,
so i can guide you step by step through the process..

Re: question for b9community 3d scanner

i use photogrammetry with great results no matter the scale of the object. i have 3d scaned from 3 meter high statues to 5 cm busts ,with consistent results otherwise you have to buy different scanners for different scales.. which can be really expensive and also a nightmare when it comes to post cl...

Re: A question for the model makers

Alfred first you need to prime it..
any generic primer will do ..you can try MOTIP grey primer..
then you can paint it either with acrylic ,enamel or oils..
check this link below for more info on painting.
