Is it okay to slide in 1.7.3 and print in 1.8.0 ?

I uninstall 1.8.0 and reinstall the older version 1.7.3 and It Works.

Why ?

B9 stop working

Hi B9 fan

This just happen today.
This OS is Win8.
I did uninstall and reinstall the B9 software but no help.

What should I do?

It worked for me by put some resin in the vat before calibration the build table, so you can see the resin stretch out evenly or not by looking under, then you can re loosen or re tighten where needed and it easy to slide out to remove the build table. I use thin glass instead of the lens cap,In case I forget to remove the glass it still print but not as good, the models will be a little softer but can be use.

Cracking vat's window

I just have this vat for a few month, used until cloudy the put back into the box waiting for re coating , this is what I found ,The window cracked. So can or how to fix this ?

I checked and move the arm up and down with the switch I don't see or feel any things and I tried to applied some grease to the scew rod the result are not any better , I would say I had a bad Z scew so any way how can I staighten it or where can I oder the new one ?

I just have a fail print not complete 1:1 mix so I try to cast without curing at all ,Just clean with alcohol and under tap water for few second and then invest ,burn out and cast in silver .It turn out okay the surfaces a little rough but workable after filing and sanding it should be better. I would say so because the water evaporate more then haft I used 100 ml of water after 10 minutes may be 40 ml of water still remain and I refill water to 100 ml again for the 2 nd time.

I made my own table smaller just for 30 xy 30 z And allitle dome in the middle about .50 mm and it works very good on both of my new vat . I just have another rush job to cast so I do microwave the ring in water for 10 minutes wait for 5 minutes and then 10 more minutes follow by 30 minutes in UV light , no cracks and the ring get realy hard and ready to investment,the casting come out realy good no different compare to others have bee...

Hi David I have the same problem with the new vat as well,so I made my own smaller table (shorter about 3/4 inch both side) and I made it dome (about 1 mm higher in the middle of the build table ) I worked very good never have any issue after that.
