Re: Anyone use this method to smooth finish their prints?

It is pretty easy to smooth out layer lines (stepping) on Emerald Green and Transparent Yellow resin with just my finger. I just work the surface of the print (before curing, but after ISO rinse and ultrasonic cleaning, blow dry with compressed air) like modeling clay. Have to be careful how u hand...

Re: New Vat vs Re coated Vat

Hii If you have solid objects plain rings etc.. you dont need to replace as soon as you see clouding, but if you want tiny details ....

any hopes for us to think there may be a software developed for the rasp pi? It would be pretty convenient to operate the machine with.

Both updates went smooth, and I really noticed less bleed and nicer crisper prints after the update and I am doing 1:1 mix. Thanks team!

Re: scratched build table

Might just give u a "line" on the attach layers. Shouldn't be a problem. Some have sanded the entire surface, so a little scratch really should be ok. Robert Hi Rob, when you say some have sanded, I read on the forum earlier you mentioned that aluminum reacts with resin and that there wil...

Re: PDMS SYLGARD184 Alternative - Rubber GLASS RTV Silicone

Hi Robert, I have Aluminium Glass and also new B9 PolyVAT the breakable glass removes fine from both. In areas it kind sticks but easy to rub off. As the material breaks apart into shards I usually wash out with water to get all the debris out then wipe down with some iso-alcohol to prep the surfac...

Re: B9Creator Calibration Grid Set

Great print. Paper still works (when they're the write size). Should have known would be good with all the great prints I had with the v1.1 machine over a years worth of printing. May keep the set up at 50 xy and be able to run more pcs per session and move things around to make the PDMS last longe...

Re: best way to clean print

my cleanup process takes couple minutes. I have two separate bottles of alcohol that I reuse, one cleaner than the other. 30 seconds to a minute of shaking on the first one, then I put it in the second cleaner bottle for another 30 seconds then cut the supports, blow some air to it and cure. I never...
