New user shrinking issue

Robert, I think I missed something. In the printing process the object is getting bigger in size. (Due to some error). So to compensate for that error if you further increase the size of the object (by 1.015). Aren't you increasing the error? Is there any thing wrong in the way I understood it? Than...

New user shrinking issue

I am also facing this problem can some one explain how to apply this 1.02 or 1,015.
Can you do some thing to correct the calibration itself. Re size the calibration Grid or increase or decrease the projector position

Temporary fix for prints not sticking to table

Mike, The picture shows my present assembly. and the suggested foundation. I hope this is what you meant. But it is also not building on the upper part of the foundation now created. So I suspect something else. I intend to re assemble the machine from the beginning next. I was getting excellent pri...

Temporary fix for prints not sticking to table

Robert , Initially when I was not getting the prints stuck to the print table I intentionally scratched the table hoping to get better adhesion. I have 3 more tables. So I indent to do all my experiments on this. The other 2 are in good condition. I also worked with 50 xy on B9C 1.1 I will get back ...

Temporary fix for prints not sticking to table

Hello Mike, By then I had already found out from the Fourm posting pictures. Hello, Robert, You had asked me for the following details and pictures. The white arrows show the areas where the object had failed to print. The build table is off by about 1 mm on both side. I roughly corrected it and But...

Temporary fix for prints not sticking to table

Hi Hello Mike, Robert, I own a B9C 1.1 and a B9C1,2 Earlier when I was using B9C1.1 I noticed that to get the initial layer attached to the Build table, I had to keep the A Base at 60 - 70 seconds when the object was sliced at 19 microns followed by 24 seconds for the subsequent layers . But in the ...

New cleaning method

Hi all,
Every one tells about cleaning with Alcohol. That is good. But if one wants to completely remove the excess resin Acetone appears to be the best. The cured resin cleaned with acetone will be clean and dry.

Dimensional error - solved

Hi Robert, Nice to hear from you. Print area is the reason why I print at 50 microns. my object size is about 60x60x10 mm so if I go for 30 microns, then I will have to have the printing done atleast 4 times to cover the area. But if I go for 50 microns then it needs only 1 print cycle. Each print c...

Dimensional error - solved

Hi Mike I am using b9 creator 1.2 version. printing with cherry @ 50 microns xy and 25 microns slice. I also faced a similar problem. The object that I am printing is quite thin, 0.6 mm thick .with cherry using default values at 50 microns. But after printing I was getting it almost 1 mm thick. So t...

Dimensional error - solved

I had similar increased size of the printed object when I was printing with 1.2 @ 50 microns and @ 70 microns. I was using defualt settings. Then I reduced the exposure time to almost half and the the dimensional became smaller.

REST API and debris detector?

Robert too risky suggestion. If the hole opens accidentally when the printer is still working the whole projector will get wet. Better to pour the resin over the sides.

Laptop recommendations

Mike,
I was about to ask you that question? Can you run multiple printers from the same computer?
Why not do some testing. In that case a I can save a computer, with the new machine soon to arrive. What are the requirements for that ?

Anodized vat and PDMS

Robert, Don't wait regarding the soft ware. It is an excellent soft ware to work with. The printer works silently and you will love it. It has a very slight learning curve. The best part is that you can re enter the printing if it fails during printing. In India we get lot of power interruptions and...
