Re: Dymo thermal printer

Zebra lp2844, eBay for $60 all day. Not so friendly on OSX but works well for me after 20 minutes of setup on Windows. Super solid.

Re: B9 1.1 Seattle - Like New/Complete

Bumping this one again over a year later. It's just sitting in my basement, I have no use for it really and don't want to invest any time into it. I'll get rid of it for 1800 plus shipping. My original listing/description is still relevant but the laptop I had originally died so it won't come with t...

Re: B9 1.1 Seattle - Like New/Complete

Bumping this thread since I'm again interested in selling this printer since it's just not getting much use to justify keeping. Projector lamp has very low hours since I haven't used it much. Printer still comes with everything listed in the original description and is $2500 OBO, located in the Seat...

Re: Support side distortions

I looked at the slices in the edit panel and didn't see any problems areas. Tried flipping it over and also angled it up a little..No bubble but the support sides are still super rounded out and not flat like they should be. Vat side of the part printed nice and has flat areas and crisp edges. Tried...

Re: Non jewelry

With the SPOT-HT resin what settings are you guys using? I want to pick up some of the yellow resin since I don't need to cast but I am not sure about the settings (been using defaults).

Re: Support side distortions

This is what the STL file looks like (also seems to check out fine in netfabb). The part was oriented parallel to the build table..i'm kind of thinking this might have cause the issues and will try angling it slightly.

Support side distortions

Having a few problems with recent prints and the problems have been consistent with the past 5 prints I've done: support side surfaces are getting distorted. I've attached some pics so if anyone has any advice let me know. I'm printing on a 1.1 machine, 75xy, 76micron slices, red resin, all default ...

B9 1.1 Seattle - Like New/Complete

Not the best pictures (android camera blows and my slr is with a friend) but you should be able to tell that I keep things tidy and very clean. http://i.imgur.com/HJfWc0F.jpg http://i.imgur.com/D4WN44x.jpg I just printed this scaled down nervous system bracelet into a ring on 75xy/76micron slices. h...

Assembly instuctions for version 1.2

Scratch that. The older instructions are in documentation and not in 'assembly'.

Assembly instuctions for version 1.2

Where are the 1.1 assembly instructions now? I want to go back and look at a few things that changed with the new version but the 1.2 seems to have replaced the 1.1. Can you host both sets?

Projector levelling?

Quote from Robert Howle on July 7, 2014, 21:05 The projected image must be perpendicular to the build table. I think that might be one of my issues...one half of the build seems sharper then the other. Not sure how I'd fix it though unless I unbolt the projector while I'm re-calibrating and try to ...

Projector levelling?

It doesn't matter if the machine is level, does it? How would i make sure my projector is level with my printer though (esp if my apartment isn't level, lol , in a very old building and everything is slanted)? I'm noticing the images projected when building are slightly out of focus only on one side...

Cracked vat. Problem

Quick question, but would you think it would be ok if I used some silicon caulk and sealed around some of the vat edges (on the outside, not on the bottom though)? I have cracks all over and it was slowly leaking ... wondering if this might prolong the VAT until I can get a newer version of one..

Cracked vat. Problem

That might be a good replacement but I don't want to have the same problem happen again, cracking after no use. It seems that it should be re-designed, no?

Cracked vat. Problem

Is there a new generation VAT coming out anytime? I have barely used my printer, recently pulled the VAT out to pack it away as I move, and noticed resin all over the bottom of the printer. This was after I even taped up the bottom of the VAT with packing tape, to cover the areas where the vertical ...

First print, wooo!

Noahbern- I have no idea..I'm using the VAT as it was sent. I've tried pressing the table down while calibrating...not while the first layer was building tho...i've never opened up the machine while it's been running..i shouldn't have to do that right? Mikej- Ok so this is weird...because in order f...

First print, wooo!

Ok guys, I'm re-visiting this problem, been away for a while but I want to try to see if I can print some stuff before I get rid of this thing. I'm still having problems with anything that is supported. I'm using medium supports, same settings as above, solid models, nothing thin...so i'm testing th...
