Re: HOW NOW BROWN COW?

Hi David. I am reposting this message that i have wrote before. I assume that you know how to do the table calibration correctly. (because it is not so difficult) I think that this is the easiest way to get rid of the sticking problem. NO sanding etc. involved. "All of my sticking problems disa...

Finished 1.1 b9 creator rings

Here is couple pictures of finished rings. I always print the bezels and ring part separately so i can fix the cast surfaces properly.
Prongs for bigger stones are also added after the casting. For bead setting i draw only small holes and do the cutting by hand.

Re: Projector window troubleshooting and mod

I am pleased to inform that the color wheel removal was success. Before the modification my print time was around 14s , (1:1 mix 31z 50xy) (set of rings took about 9h and the results was not wery good. Some of the items did not grow correctly. especially in the edges of the buildtable (old version o...

(bearings have been laying around months) After that i decided to take my projector apart. (whole machine has been more or less useless with 14s curing t...

Having trouble getting Prints to Stick to The Build Table

Haha :) I'd be totally lost without Google Translate "paint=dye"
Anodized color/dye often dissolves in boiling basic liquid.

Having trouble getting Prints to Stick to The Build Table

Robert, I do not wash buildtable between the prints. I do the same paper towel wipe between prints. I did the dye removal only once and the buildtable has been perfect after that. The washing did not involve any scrubbing. Now I do not need to focus on the settings at all related to the sticking, ev...

Having trouble getting Prints to Stick to The Build Table

Hi KBS756. All of my sticking problems disappeared totally when i washed my build table with near boiling water and dishwasher powder. Some of the red anodized color comes off. This "treatment" probably removes some "paint" form the porous surface of aluminium. When the porous surface is more "open"...

Projector window troubleshooting and mod

I am having the same problem with cure times. The need for increased cure times happened quite fast. Now i have lamp hours 437. (printing 1:1 mix z31.75 Initial around 14s) I have not looked inside the projector yet whether the filters are in good condition. I thought that my lamp is dying but it se...

Yes i think that too. in my vat both "end nubs" are bit higher than the base. Hope it holds before I get purchased a new.
