Re: X axis movement malfunction b9 V1.1

I'd try uninstalling and reinstalling the b9 software, while having the machine unplugged.

Re: Unknown Printer????

Looks like it might be a DIY from when the b9 was open source. If you know it worked before, you might be able to run it with the V1.1 settings in the b9creator software.

I had similar issues until I sanded down the build table.

Re: High Speed Printing using v1.2 Might be Possible?

The user Brumbear had done some work in this direction before.

You'd have to dig into the forum, if the post with the details is still there, or contact him directly.

Happy hunting.

Re: B9 scan 350

Are there specs available? or did I miss them? Does the 350 imply 35 micron scanning?

My mistake (and correction), and a question.

I recently found the option in Windows 10 to adjust the monitor's color temperature. I began making use of it during modeling sessions to sessions easier on my eyes by making the screen warmer. This caused prints to fail, partial prints, compressed calibration prints. Needless to say, I won't be doi...

Projector Trouble

I'm pretty sure this is something I will have to get in touch with vivitek over, but I wanted to check here to see if any one has run across the same thing. A few months back my v1.2 started giving an error that was not included in the troubleshooting part of the manual, 4 power blinks 1 lamp blink....

Re: Projector light power decreases after 10-15 min

Double thanks for the link to the manual. Mine 1.2 has been sporadically having issues, it didn't occur to me that something could be wrong beyond the lamp giving up. I gotta remember to keep my head out of where it doesn't belong.

Any chance this thread can be stickied? or maybe have the setting changes added to the description of the v1.2 motor in the store?

Re: How Would You Support/Grow This

When faced with this, I add small cylinders for support and grow the head flat onto the table. I add one into the model and array along curve, normally .5mm diameter. After partly cured, I go in with a hand saw, carefully cut them out, use a little bit of sand paper to smooth that spot out (those sn...

Do the lamps for sale in the B9 spare parts department have original glass filters, or an after market ones?

Re: Beginner CAD software for B9C

I would advise MOI. I learned 3d modeling on it, before I jumped into RhinoGold. There are a number of youtube videos on the basics of MOI, and with those, you should be able to model just about anything. It is quite stable, I can't say I've made the newest version, v3.0, crash. I use it with nearly...

Re: Why won't this print?

To me, it looks like the triangles are lacking support at their lowest layer. I would grow these flat with a smaller triangle under for support, give er take .6-.7mm tall, and file it down after. Or vertically with a modeled support at one point of the triangle to minimize cleanup. Something like th...

I'm also interested, if not direct from the B9 store, perhaps a suggested suppler? With the holidays around the corner, I'd like to make use of both machines. Thanks!

It's not much, but its a start. I cannot recall at this time, any other instance of that resin mentioned in a B9.
