Re: Settings

Hi Dan, I just sent you My FEP settings. Works fine at 30XY... Bigger gets much more problematic... Got the FEP on, trying to get the setting right as my first print layers stuck to the film. EDIT: looks like it ALSO was sticking to build table, and the bits stuck to the film are not in the same sp...

Re: Print detail suddenly poor (emerald, 30x30y, creator1.2)

did you recalibrate the build table???? also people have had great success with adding a layer of the FEP film to the pdms. https://forum.b9c.com/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=7452&p=46431&hilit=film%5C#p46431 Just read through the FEP thread, and looked for others with no success, but it sounds...

Re: Print detail suddenly poor (emerald, 30x30y, creator1.2)

Foggy PDMS sounds like the problem. My 1.2 was giving (at most) 15 prints per coating... with the last few prints having degraded quality. I am SOOOOO happy we upgraded to the B9 Core! Never needing to perform calibrations or change pdms is a real game changer. :D Unless this is too much support st...

Re: Print detail suddenly poor (emerald, 30x30y)

What printer? if it is a 1.2hd or 1.1 printer then you would need to look at the pdm for fogging. next check the focus it could have got bumped and calibrate the build table. Agh, we're in the 1.2 and earlier forum so I assumed. Yes it's a 1.2, sorry. The PDMS is a bit foggy, but not much. But afte...

Re: Print detail suddenly poor (emerald, 30x30y)

For reference: I know it can print these because this ring came out just fine only 4 or 5 jobs ago, size 5.75

Print detail suddenly poor (emerald, 30x30y, creator1.2)

Hello! Plenty of successful prints and recently printed a ring that is essentially lacking some detail. Smallest feature is a 0.5mm hole through the band, which didn't even print at all, completely filled in. Most of it is 1-3mm inset bezel seats (pictured below) What's interesting though is the spl...

Re: Object compressed in the Y-AXIS???

Always a great help to others when u solve a problem and post the resolution to that problem. Thanks, Robert Howle That was what I figured, that either someone would catch me mid process and save me, and once I got it sorted, that others could use this. It is annoying to note that this forum softwa...

Re: Object compressed in the Y-AXIS???

Hello, Have you tried to right click on the creator icone on your desktop and force the software to run on the hd graphics to see what happens. I would think that if it comes up ok the problem is caused by your video card. How did you solve your first posting, I am interested because I ended up swi...

SOLVED Re: Object compressed in the Y-AXIS???

SOLVED: Mods, if this feels like some idiot rat-race please delete but I did manage to fix it mostly by guessing. So effectively the "screen resolution" on all setting was right, but for some reason the "Active Signal Resolution" was 1920x1200. I navigated: Right click desktop ->...

Re: Object compressed in the Y-AXIS???

UPDATE: I am almost positive that despite all settings being correct for displays, the laptop is sending the wrong resolution to the projector? Is that even possible? I have an Intel Graphics HD 630 Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 The GTX is running the projector. And look: The Desktop Resolution is right, ...

Re: Object compressed in the Y-AXIS???

Just ran some tests: Initial print (cuboctahedron) came out: X-Y-Z : 15mm-14mm-15mm (should be all equal) (about 92% reduction) Surfaces are clean, it's lined up on the axis, resin cured great. IMG_20180804_104121.jpg Re-callibrated build table, all good. Tried to calibrate the projector: -Obvious c...

Object compressed in the Y-AXIS???

Ok, stumped. I beat the screen resolution challenge, and the "swapped displays" challenge. Got the print to run, and it went great. Smooth and with no drift. But for SOME reason the object is squishes in the Y-AXIS??? It's essentially a cube. (cuboctehedron with holes in it). The X is 9.98...

Display devices swapped, always

Alright, I am new to this so have mercy. I have tried everything, including changing the "primary" display, disabling and re-enabling intel adapters, restarting computer... And for some reason it keeps sending my desktop to the projector and the print-slice-images to my computer... I also ...
